Area servedGriffintown Real Estate
Once a working-class industrial district along the Lachine Canal, Griffintown has become one of Montréal’s most sought-after residential areas. Our office on rue Saint-Maurice is a short walk away, so we work with buyers, sellers, tenants and investors here every day.
Living in Griffintown
Wedged between downtown, Old Montréal and the Lachine Canal, Griffintown is a neighbourhood you can live in on foot, with cafés, restaurants and everyday shops along Notre-Dame Ouest, Wellington and Peel. The canal bike path connects you to Atwater Market and on to Lachine.
Traces of its Irish and industrial past remain, from converted warehouses to the former St. Ann’s Church site. The École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) campus is here too, bringing students and young professionals to the area.
Property types and who they suit
Most of the supply is condos in newer mid- and high-rise buildings, often with amenities such as a gym, rooftop terrace and indoor parking. You will also find lofts in converted industrial buildings and a small number of townhouses.
Griffintown is a strong fit for downtown professionals, first-time buyers, couples and downsizers. Investors also look here for long-term rentals.
